FLOODING UPDATE
The recent flooding in Iowa has affected George Wyth State Park, leading to its closure through the month of July while flood damage is assessed and repaired. The race directors are confident that the Peregrine Charities Triathlon will still be able to take place, as planned, on September 28th. There is the slight chance, however, that Wyth Lake will not safe for swimming or the park will need to remain closed for the season. Under these circumstances, the triathlon may move to another location with alternate swim, bike, and run courses and distances. If a safe swim location cannot be secured, the event will be a duathlon, as originally posted within the race information. The race location may be moved; distances will be 3 mile run - 22 mile bike - 3 mile run. If you have any questions, please contact the race directors at info@peregrinecharities.org.
