Research into rare pediatric diseases
There are countless diseases most people know nothing about. Diseases so rare they often go overlooked - and underfunded - so treatments and cures are far away. But there is nothing rare about a disease if your child or someone you love has it.

Rare or "orphan" deases are those that affect fewer than 200,000 people in the United States. There are more than 6,000 such diseases affecting 25 million - or one in ten - Americans.

These diseases have not been forgotten by organizations and research teams around the world that are looking for cures. Nor have they been forgotten by Peregrine Charities.

Assistance with children's hospitalization and medical treatment
Hospitalization and medical treatment can be risky, stressful, and scary, especially for young people. It can sometimes be difficult for children and families to receive comprehensive care with the latest technology and comforts.

Every child should be able to receive healthcare that is as medically advanced and compassionate as the people who provide it. Peregrine Charities wants to help make that happen.
